Recently, under the meticulous guidance of the Fujian Provincial Health and Health Commission, the “2024 China International 20th Modern Rescue Medicine Forum” was grandly held in Xiamen City. Organized by the Chinese Medical Rescue Association, and co-hosted by Xiamen University’s Xiang’an Hospital, Fujian Province Emergency Medical Rescue Base, and the “Chinese Journal of Emergency Resuscitation and Disaster Medicine,” the forum revolved around the central theme of “Technological Innovation and Smart Emergency Rescue,” gathering over 1,200 experts and scholars from the domestic and international fields of medical rescue to explore the future development and practical pathways of modern rescue medicine.
At the opening ceremony of the forum, numerous leaders, including Li Zonghao, President of the Chinese Medical Rescue Association, Wang Jun, Dean of Peking University People’s Hospital and Academician, Zhang Guoan, Deputy Director of the Fujian Provincial Health and Health Commission, and Shi Dalin, Vice President of Xiamen University, delivered passionate speeches. Additionally, distinguished figures such as Academician Fan Weicheng from Tsinghua University, Li Tanshui, Vice President of the Chinese Medical Rescue Association and Chief of the General Surgery Department at the First Medical Center of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Hospital, and He Weiling, Dean of Xiamen University’s Xiang’an Hospital, were present. They engaged in in-depth exchanges and guidance with other academicians and experts, including Ji Xunming, Jiang Baoguo, and Fan Daiming, through an online platform.
In this prestigious event of the international medical rescue field, Mr. Qian Pinxing, the founder of Pinxing Medical, was honored with the position of Executive Director of the third council of the Equipment Branch of the Chinese Medical Rescue Association, with a term of five years.
